We look forward to reopening following our Lockdown

Dear Patients

We have missed seeing you and taking care of all your foot health needs.

We are getting ready to reopen!

Please be assured that we have extra procedures in place to keep you safe.

We have been working hard during Lockdown behind the scenes to ensure that we follow all guidelines as advised by the government and our professional body The College of Podiatry.

To ensure that we are all protected we have implemented procedures and protocols to ensure we keep you our team and all of us safe. Alongside that we have sourced and stocked up on approved PPE, ready for our reopening.

If you are on a waiting list, we will call you to discuss your needs, we will be following a triage and filter system to assess foot care needs, certain patients will be in need of urgent care and therefore prioritised for treatment.

We have alternatives in place for those who need treatment and advice but are not given a priority appointment in the first weeks of reopening.

If you are given an appointment, then we will ask that we take payment over the telephone.

We will ask you some covid-19 related questions to ensure that it is safe for you to come to us We will call you on the morning of your appointment or the day before to ensure that you are well.

We ask you to call us when you are parked up ready to come in and we will let you know exactly when to come into the surgery. Please wear a protective face covering or a mask which covers your nose and your mouth. If you do not have one, then we will provide you with a new one which you can keep. We are ensuring that we limit contact time for you in the surgery as much as possible and aim for you to come straight into the treatment room. We will have a cleaning station where you will be asked to sanitize your hands. We will rebook your next appointment over the phone wherever possible and we will call you to remind you of this appointment.

We realise that this is a very different experience compared o your usual visit to us. We want to deliver the same high quality care within an environment that provides you assurance that you are protected and safe while in our care.

Please feel free to ask us for further detail if you need, we are here to help you.

We thank you for returning to us and look forward to seeing you.
