laser treatment machineFungal Nail Infections

Around 80% of the population will suffer from some sort of fungal infection during their lifetime, and approximately 20% of the population are suffering right now!

Do you have a fungal toenail infection? Although these are common, it doesn't stop them being an annoyance, especially when summer approaches.

Topical antifungals such as lacquers, creams, sprays or tinctures are not always successful unless combined with podiatry care. Stronger treatment is available in the form of prescribed antifungal tablets, but these can cause damage to the liver, and also have unwelcome side effects.

Basildon & Billericay Podiatry Clinics are pleased to offer laser treatment for toe nail fungus.

Laser works well in conjunction with topical anti-fungals, regular podiatry montioring and fungal nail reduction to aid the penetration of products and increase the efficacy of laser.

We have ND Yag laser systems, the application of laser destroys nail fungal infections. Depending on the degree to which the nail was infected and how much the nail bed was affected by fungal disease, the nail will grow better and in some cases will return to normal, typical whole nail regrowth time is 12 months)
